This Privacy Policy describes how New Mexico Data Insights, LLC (“New Mexico Data Insights,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when individuals interact with our website located at https://newmexicodatainsights.com (the “Site”) and when they submit privacy requests to us. New Mexico Data Insights provides public-records-based property information and related data services primarily to real estate professionals, title companies, financial institutions, and other organizations with a legitimate professional need for such information. This Policy also describes the privacy rights available to California residents and residents of other states with applicable consumer privacy laws, and how to exercise those rights.

New Mexico Data Insights is registered as a “data broker” with the California Privacy Protection Agency (“CPPA”) under applicable California law and may be registered in other U.S. states that require data broker registration. Our separate commercial data broker activities and related disclosures are described in more detail in our CPPA registration and in the “Data Broker Activities” section below.

We may act as a “business” and “data broker” under California law and similar data broker and consumer privacy laws in other U.S. jurisdictions when we collect, sell, or share certain personal information about consumers with whom we do not have a direct relationship, in connection with public-records-based property information and related data products (including property ownership records, deed history, lien and judgment records, and associated contact information), which are offered primarily to real estate professionals, investors, and other organizations through various client and affiliate websites (collectively, the “Background Report Services”).

The Site itself is primarily a privacy-request and informational portal; it is not used to sell background reports, process payments, or deliver targeted advertising.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to the Site; and
  • Individuals who submit privacy requests to us (including requests submitted via the California Delete Request and Opt-Out Platform (“DROP”), or directly through our web forms, email, phone, or mail).

This Policy does not govern the privacy practices of third-party websites that may link to or from the Site or that separately provide Background Report Services. Those sites have their own privacy policies and terms.

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

The Site is designed to collect only the personal information reasonably necessary to receive, verify, and respond to privacy requests. Depending on the request and your chosen communication channel, we may collect:

  • Verification information: Date of birth, last four digits of Social Security number, or other identifiers you choose to provide to help us reasonably verify your identity (where permitted and appropriate).
  • Request details: The type of request (e.g., access, deletion, correction, opt-out), the scope of the request, and any additional information you choose to provide in free-text fields, including information about your relationship to us or our clients.
  • Authorized agent information: Name and contact information for an authorized agent, plus proof of authorization (e.g., signed permission or power of attorney), when an agent submits a request on your behalf.

We do not knowingly collect payment card data through this Site, and we do not use the Site to collect information for targeted advertising.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:

  • IP address and general geolocation derived from your IP
  • Date, time, and pages viewed, and referring URLs

Our Background Report Services are offered primarily to real estate professionals, investors, title companies, and other organizations through client and affiliate websites.

  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.

11. Retention of Personal Information

  • Maintain necessary business and accounting records
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

For privacy-request–related data, we retain records of requests and responses for at least the period required by applicable law or regulation, including any CPPA rules relating to audits and records production.

12. Security

We use reasonable and appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information under our control from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site and our Background Report Services are not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
